A significant part of a Key Account Manager’s job is to review performance regularly and make recommendations for improvement. Depending on your market and what you’re selling, you could be reviewing a whole range of key performance indicators (KPIs).

The Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that you review will include:

  • Outcomes that you as a supplier have achieved

  • Outcomes that your customer has achieved

  • What has NOT been achieved and needs attention

These performance reviews can quickly get very boring if not managed effectively!

Alternatively, these meetings with customers can be HUGELY valuable times to develop new and better ways of working that result in Win-Win for everybody.

I’m guessing that you will be interested in helping your customers continue to buy from you and, ideally, increase their spending!
