All week, our theme has been Planning for Success. So far, the big ideas have all been things you can do yourself:

  • Planning for your career success

  • Planning for your customers’ success

  • Investing the necessary time and effort that will be needed

  • Planning for the inevitable tough days 

Today’s big idea is that Planning for Success and achieving your plans is often best when you do it with other people.

Next week, I will launch my brand new online community for people in selling roles who want to improve their sales results. The community will be called Sales Reset Together.

Of course, we can make lots of progress by ourselves. But if we can learn from the experiences of other people as well as our own hard-earned lessons, chances are we’ll learn more quickly and more effectively.

It’s likely that you’ve worked alongside colleagues in a sales team. You know the value of the support you get from your colleagues. When you’ve had a challenging situation or an unexpected development, it’s so valuable to bounce ideas around with people who know enough to help.

And no doubt you’ve experienced how good it is to help one of your colleagues and to receive their thanks.
